We had a nice weekend at Okeechobee hanging around the pool in the late afternoon, this is the season to go places in Florida because all the snowbirds have gone back north and who would want to be in Florida during the summer!!! With just a few days to go before we headed to the Keys, we thought we’d go somewhere new so we travelled across the state to the Atlantic coast. A few days by the ocean would do us good. We don’t normally stay in state parks because most of them are older parks designed for shorter RVs, but Jonathan Dickinson State Park, just north of Jupiter, was recently updated, and they put in a lot of longer sites.
