Jan 26, 2010 - The Indian River or is it?

Tuesday....January 26, 2010 Oasis RV Park, Grant, FL We are enjoying the warm weather and really are glad we decided to come south. It is so cold and icky at home, I don't envy anyone for the weather they are having up north. I feel a little guilty that we are having such wonderful warm weather...but I'm going to enjoy it anyway ;-D The water here is like what we had in Arizona, so we've been getting bottled water to drink and cook with. It's hard for me to imagine that it doesn't come from the tap tasting so good, like the water at home...

Jan 24, 2010 - Orbit RV Park...Grant, Florida

Sunday.....Orbit RV Park, Grant, FL We are settling in for our month here. Sheena likes to be inside so she doesn't care where we call home. Queeny loves walks and it is a lot...a LOT...flatter here then at home. It was more cloudy this morning than sunny.....they're forecasting 82 F for today. And rain for late evening and over night than heavy rain tomorrow. The severe stuff is supposed to stay north of us.... Bye....I'm going out now and enjoy ;-)

Jan 23, 2010 - To Grant, Florida...Our Home for a month

Saturday, January 23, 2010 Orbit RV Park, Grant, FL Orbit RV Park, Grant, Florida We left Lake City arount 9:20 AM. We stopped in a town just east of Jacksonville for gas & breakfast. There was a little restaurant named "The Swamp". It was just a neighborhood grill & bar....but what a great breakfast buffet. The food was so good and the people were so friendly, it was such luck for us to find this place. We have been so lucky with the weather so far too. It was a beautiful day today....sunny & warm. We arrived in Grant, FL around 3:30 PM....

Jun 18, 2009 - Grant, Florida 6/18-19

Thurs & Friday, June 18 & 19 We left Fort Lauderdale after a leisure morning. Since we explored the coast already, we headed north on I-95. Our destination for the day was Grant, Florida. Orbit RV Park, another of the parks listed in our Campground USA Book at 50%, $16.00. It is a nice clean park off A1A, with a dock across the street. John especially liked the manager, Keith. He was very knowledgeable of the surrounding areas. There was a club house, of which I borrowed a couple of movies. There was a nice shopping area in Melbourne, and...
