9/13/2013. Friday I Can Dig That! We are on the eve of our great adventure traveling to Kentucky and Indiana when all of a sudden Friday The Thirteenth paid us an inauspicious visit. Kenny had pulled our RV into the front yard and then pulled his luxury liner into the driveway thusly blocking the gate into the recreational vehicle holding yard. This will soon play an important role in this saga. Since I needed to greatly enhance the petrol level in the petrol holding tank, I decided to take the Navigator along to the petrol fueling station....

May 17, 2013 - The trip home

The trip from Fruitland Park FL to Berwick ME. Picked up the RV then spent a night in a local RV Park. Went back in the AM asked some questions and got a few things fixed. Then on to Fitsgearld GA to get the Trailor. Arrived after they closed so spent the night at a local Walmart parking lot. Back to Hurricane Cargo in the AM and got the trailer, looks great but really longer than I expected. 67' 6" RV and trailor combined, too long. Headed home blew a hydralic line first night then took 3 hours to get the unit back up on air so I could...

Dec 15, 2008 - Beginning Winter '09 in Central Florida

We start the "winter" season in Central Florida. We found a nice United Methodist Retreat Center to use as a base for a few days before and after our trip back to Wisconsin for Christmas with family and friends. This is a nice setting ... very quiet ... and they were nice enough to let us "dry dock" here while we are gone back to Wisconsin. Aug 29, 2008 - Lake Griffin State Park

Visit Lake Griffin State Park Web Site Lake Griffin State Park HORSE COUNTRY We were scratching our heads when we first found this place, why we didn't locate this earlier in our rving adventures in Florida. We then learned that we had found it before however it was closed for renovation. They recently just opened when we camped here & according to the ranger many locals in the area still are not aware that they have opened.
