Mar 5, 2020 - Port Charlotte FL, update

Well we made it to VT and back in fine shape. Flights went well, no delays. The weather was, well VT weather. Everything from just below zero, to 45 ish, and even some of that spring time wonderful sugaring snow! Little Harper was already a month old, and oh so precious. Isaiah is so proud to be a big brother. We had a great time with Megan & Ben & family and we were treated to some wonderful home cooked meals. Their dog Duke was an absolute little love bug. Carol and Lenny came up from Rutland, for an overnight visit and they too were able...

Feb 17, 2020 - Port Charlotte FL, Harbor Lakes RV Resort - update

Jan 27, 2013 - A Four Hour Trip That Turned Into Six Hours

Norma and I had walked the north loop trail at Myakka State Forest last year and wanted to walk the south loop trail this year. We wait until the dry season to walk the trails in Florida, now if you like to walk in water on part of the trails then summer time is for you. I got our backpack out the night before to make sure that we had the items we need for a walk on the trail. Even if it is a short walk or a day walk we take some items just because if something may happen and we get stuck on the trail longer then we would like. In the...
