Happy 50th Anniversary to my parents today!!! Still in love after all these years. We continued our drive today and, except for a stop at an Animal Hospital, it was fairly uneventful. Why did we stop at an Animal Hospital? Our sweet little Blayde woke up with "gooky-itchy" eyes so we had to have him checked over. Diagnosis: Blayde has Pink Eye. So, $60 later, we now have our little boy on eye drops (which he doesn't seem to mind at all... he really is the most mellow baby I've ever seen) and he is now on the road to recovery. Sep 26, 2008 - The Loading Begins

So we all know that packing is a mission all on its own, especially when it’s our own. I knew that there would be a lot of boxes and furniture to load but I think I under estimated the pack rat that is my mother. And just think, she actually got rid of things! Note to self: I may be a pack rat. See doctor about cure . . . . Tomorrow we start our first day of traveling. To tell you the truth, I am quite nervous but excited at the same time.
