130131-Thu-0 miles-Today I slept in & I have felt better all day. After lunch we rode to a restaurant & then out on Anna Maria island. We took the free trolley, then I had a beer – I had to take my pills. We just got back from dinner on the waterfront. Cool & so is the weather.

130130-Wed-70786 miles-Today we went to Holiday Cove. I couldn’t stand no internet. Holiday Cove is still slow, but it should be lightning fast for what we are paying. We drove out on to Anna Maria island after we ate lunch at the Cuban restaurant. It’s warm, but windy. We are having a great time, but I am having more trouble walking. Hopefully it is just the fall. Friday we get Shirley’s new phone, maybe an iPhone 5, then off to Hagar’s. We just got back from getting ice cream. I think we are done for the night.

120228-Tue-0 miles. Today we just relaxed. We are at Holiday Cove in Bradenton on Cortez Rd. I got my haircut and we both got pedicures. Then we went to lunch at Jose's Cuban Food, visited by Guy Fieri of the Food Channel. Then we got ice cream. We just got back from the pool. Oh, I forgot to say that we visited Paradise Bay Trailer Park, where my grandmother used to stay. We were there about 40 years ago. It was fun. Before dinner we went to the bridge, about ¼ mile, to watch the Manatees, but we saw none, but did get some good pictures.

120227-Mon-We started at 59377 miles and went to 59435, for a total today of 58 miles. We met Dennis and Patty and toured Anna Maria Island, ate lunch at Duffy’s and then had ice cream. Now they have left and we are working in the RV. We have seen where GG used to stay - Paradise Bay Trailer Park on Cortez Rd. It is just across the street and a little east of us. We will probably go there tomorrow. We stayed in her trailer about 40 years ago.
