Apr 11, 2013 - Geocaching In Clearwater
Last day to spend in Clearwater , Florida before going home to Cape Coral , Florida for a few days. We went out to the old part of the town of Clearwater. Our first stop was at the old post office on main street, the container was in the bushes next to a wall and some steps to the post office. You had to look for the container but not let any one see you !!! We got to see some wonderful city parks and even a bridge over the road had a container hidden on top of the bridge walkway. At one park we had to count the number of blocks in the...

Apr 10, 2013 - IN CHICAGO
We went to see CHICAGO the band in concert and they were great as the fist day we saw them back in the 60's. They are better because they have three hours of great songs to listen to along with 1000's of peole who live that type of music. What a great day we had and then to hear a band that put out some great sounds.

Dec 25, 2012 - Merry Christmas
Today we started off by attending a local Catholic Church for mass. That turned out to be rather interesting. The mass was held in two languages, part English, part Spanish. With the large Spanish population they decided to try a split mass. Interesting. Later on we had reservations in Clearwater Beach, Florida for a great buffet Christmas Dinner. It is a beautiful place with lots of white sand and beautiful Gulf Coast. Will have to spend some time there in the future. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Season.

Jan 23, 2012 - Clearwater Halfathon
It was another run this weekend, but this time we both ran! I ran the Clearwater Halfathon and, for the first time in over a year, Sue entered a race - the 5-Miler. We all started at the same time but she finished about an hour ahead of me. Both races cross the Clearwater Beach Causeway Bridge and back. I had the pleasure of crossing a second bridge heading south on Gulf Boulevard and back again. This is one of my favorite runs with a great combination of views and challenges. To top off this year's run as I crossed the finish line Sue was...

Arrived home about three and only brought in the absolute necessities to the apartment. Took the RV to storage. Will retrieve it in the AM to unload. I did all the cleaning in Unadilla so this should be easier this time. We have loved being home tonight in our gorgeous apartment. More trips in the planning stages but loving right now too.

Apr 25, 2011 - Fun Time In The City
We had a short drive to a place that was a mobile home park until the year of 2000 when the city had to solve a problem with flooding in the mobile home park from a small stream that ran Thur the park. The park was in a flood zone area and knew that when the built the park. During the summer time the whole trailer park would flood from the creek and back up to other places also.So the town brought the property from the owners and restored the area to a normal flood zone and made a cool bike and walking trail park for the people to...
