Saturday morning we met Kathy and Michael for breakfast at First Watch, then we all went back and finished loading up the RV.RJ and I headed back to 19 and up to Carrabelle and points north and west. ... this time we’re heading on!! Sunday afternoon we arrived at Carrabelle Beach. ... May 4, 2009 - Retired Again...

We finished up our workamping gig in Carrabelle on April 9 and headed back to Georgia on the 10th to celebrate Easter with our families. ... Our original plan was to leave Georgia following Easter and head west, but as you know things change and we decided to head back down to Carrabelle, FL for a couple of weeks because Rick didn't get enough fishing and there were a couple of festivals that I wanted to go to. ... We went to the Riverfront Festival in Carrabelle on Saturday and enjoyed all the local artists and crafters. ... We throughly enjoyed all our time in Carrabelle (working and not). ...

Mar 24, 2009 - Spring in Florida!

Our time spent workamping here in Carrabelle, FL is really flying by. ... We really like the other workkampers and have been enjoying all Carrabelle and the surrounding area has to offer when we're not working. ... Thursday nights are spent at a local restaurant "Two Al's" enjoying delicious food then a rousing game of trivia.Our time spent workamping here in Carrabelle, FL is really flying by. ... Well, the lions didn't keep us awake last night. -- Tonight we are staying just east of Carrabelle in the Ho Hum RV Park which is right on the Gulf. ... Pretty Damn Nice!

Jan 2, 2009 - Back to WORK!

While we were in Carrabelle at the Ho Hum RV Park just before Christmas, we were talking with a couple of workampers that were telling us they had to leave early and were looking for someone to finish their six-month commitment and after much thinking, we decided to fill in for them. ... Since our full-time travels began back in August of 2006 we have traveled continuously, not stopping for more than a couple of weeks at the time and we had decided to take a more leisurely approach to the coming year.While we were in Carrabelle at the Ho Hum RV Park just before Christmas, we were talking with a couple of workampers that were telling us they had to leave early and were looking for someone to finish their six-month commitment and after much thinking, we decided to fill in for them. ... Nov 12, 2008 - Carrabelle FL

Left Apalachicola after a couple days waiting for favorable winds to cross the Gulf to Cedar Key. I decided that the Gulf was not likely to be as smooth as the Bay so I headed up the coast to Carrabelle staying inside the barrier islands of Apalchicola and St George Bays. ... When I reached The Moorings at Carrabelle there were lots of "Loopers" waiting for an opening to cross the Gulf to the other side. ... Dockmaster Buddy gave us an update on the weather likelihood for tomorrow.Left Apalachicola after a couple days waiting for favorable winds to cross the Gulf to Cedar Key.
