Last year at this time we were up in Indiana over the fourth of July with some friends at a campground that they work at during the summer months. This year we were going to do not a thing but go see the local fire works in Cape Coral, I was thinking about the people and all the cars in one place at the same time, I asked Norma if she would like to go to Fort Myers Beach over the fourth of july weekend. ... Today is the first day of semi-retirement for Norma, so we went to the Cape Coral River Beach area for a cool swim in the river and to enjoy some sun. ... Apr 28, 2009 - April 13th-19th...still in Florida

We left behind 46 wonderful days in the Keys; with so many memories of all the great times we enjoyed with our family and our friends, in such an awesome place. Our drive to Cape Coral involved making a couple hour stop in the Florida Everglades National Park for a speedy air-boat ride; meeting new friends. ... alligators, turtles, egrets and some snakes! The next six days were spent on Pine Island, just outside the Cape Coral area. ... We were consumed with real estate hunting for the most part; however, we did rent a little 20' runabout on our last day there to check out the outer islands of Cabbage Key, Cayo Costa and more.We left behind 46 wonderful days in the Keys; with so many memories of all the great times we enjoyed with our family and our friends, in such an awesome place.
