Monday, August 24, 2009 We leave Pensacola and head towards Orlando. Because it would be very late when we would get to Orlando, we decide to stop in Alachua, Florida to spend the night. ... Can you believe that San Felasco is a mispronunciation by settlers and Indians of the name of a mission that was here called San Francisco de Potano? not even close! This park has a big network of bike and horse trails and I did parts of two of those trails, looking for letterboxes along the way.Can you believe that San Felasco is a mispronunciation by settlers and Indians of the name of a mission that was here called San Francisco de Potano? not even close!
