May 20, 2009 - DC at night

On our DC at night tour, we saw the monuments and federal buildings flooded in lights, the illuminated dome of the U.S. Capitol and the breathtaking view from the roof of the Kennedy Center. We rode down Pennsylvania Avenue and saw the White House and the Capitol Reflecting Pool.

May 19, 2009 - Washington D.C.

We camped at Cherry Hill Park, in College Park, and took the subway into DC. Our Senator scheduled tours of the Pentagon, the Capitol, the Library of Congress, the Bureau of Engraving, passes to the Senate gallery floor and the White House. We took the DC at Night tour which was fabulous.
