Jul 19, 2009 - The Hitch Trip to CT
On July 19 Jerry and I left home without Holly to go to CT. Our mission - to have a hitch installed on our RV so we can tow a car. Unfortunately, Holly had to stay home but she was well cared for by our neighbors. The weather was perfect - sunny but not too hot. Jerry drove his Honda and Linda drove the RV to Hammonasset Beach State Park where we camped. We had sailed to the Thimble Islands many years ago and so wanted to go back. We took a 45 minute boat ride on the Sea Mist. There are about 25 inhabited islands just off the shoreline...
