Jul 28, 2011 - Off We Go

I find myself watching the humans packing the car. Are they taking me on another trip? I hope so... I'm not sure where we might be going, and I don't think the humans know either... Well, it seems I'm not going in the trunk this time... don't worry, it's the hatchback on a station wagon. Gotcha! Anyway, I think I'll be stretching out across the back seat with my human companion - no "Masters" here, just friends... Off we go now, heading west, like last time. See you in a state or two!

Sep 23, 2010 - Roadside Service

Holy cow! I hardly recognized yesterday it was so different from the one I had planned. Let me start out by saying that we almost never stay at a Wal-Mart. We like our creature comforts, especially the air conditioning during warm weather. Since the weather is cooler now (we’ve had our heat of for a couple weeks), we planned a night at Wal-Mart for this trip south. Yesterday was the day for that Wal-Mart stay. May 6, 2010 - Purchase Day

We bought this fine Sturey Pop-Up on April 26 2010. when we got her home we set it up and began the cleaning and testing phase . surprisingly many items were still functioning correctly. the first "Camping trips" were in the side yard to iron out some bugs . now its may 6,2010 and I find myself here still waiting for the paperwork from the previous owner cant do much more till I get that.... more later

Jul 25, 2008 - Eastward HO!

Fri 7/25…..we're still cruising and plan to be home sometime on Saturday. Unfortunately, I didn't finish this journal the way I had planned. The overheating problem was a major distraction, but everything seems to be working out OK. We had planned to follow Rte 66 where ever it was still open, but time became a factor, and all though we did parallel it most of the way, I didn't get a chance to take any pics. Missed a lot of nostalgic shots. 7/26... after a driving marathon we arrived home at 3 pm., safe and sound to a teary eyed welcoming...
