May 27, 2019 - Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day and many thanks to all our men and women who served to keep this wonderful country safe. We appreciate each and every one of you. We are in the Four Corners section of Colorado in the tiny town of Towaoc, Colorado. The Four Corners Monument marks the quadripoint in the Southwestern United States where the states of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah meet. We stayed at Ute Mountain Casino at the Sleeping Ute RV Park for $25/night. Very poor Wi-fi and a little uneven sites, but not a bad park and we would probably stay here again. We had visited here last fall on our Moab/Mesa Verde trip. This park is...

Now that we're done with Wolf Creek Pass we can enjoy the rest of the ride today. We'll be heading out of the mountains and into a more desert like terrain. Our overnight stop will find us at The Ute Mountain RV park, just short of the Four Corners and Arizona.
