Jul 24, 2014 - Colorado

Traveled across the last part of Nebraska into Colorado. Came through a major thunderstorm right as we got into Colorado and had to go @ 5 mph for a couple of miles. Came thru Fort Collins and on to the Poudre canyon road to find a campsite. Drove down pingree road and finally found site along the road. Woke up to cars and 18 wheelers coming up the road. Time to move on.

I am going to take a nap as soon as I get this entry finished - so here goes . . . we (Grandma, Gary, and me)started out from the house with me running along side the bike with Gary riding then I got to ride in the burley. We were on the trail and it was flooded from the river but that didn't stop us - look at the video's and now I think I need a rest - what, that's the mailman at the door. Gotta go!

Jul 30, 2007 - Poudre Canyon

We are back in Colorado and "up the Poudre" which means we are camping on the Poudre River. We are about 30 miles out of Fort Collins up in the mountains. We have camped up the Poudre for 30 years and it is so nice to be here again. We love these mountains and this river. We'll be dry camping here for 5 days with Dave and Christa Bath.
