Oct 19, 2011 - Big changes in trip plans!

Yesterday, October 18, I (Marilyn) found out that I have Intraductal Carcinoma in my right breast, Grade 3 (meaning "more aggressive").  I accidentally discovered a large lump while undressing last Thursday night and the medical system has worked beautifully to get me through the process of:  1) seeing a gynocologist who sent me immediately  to get 2) mammogram and ultrasound; 3) breast biopsy on Monday with an immediate referral to get an 4) MRI of both breasts.  I don't have the final results of the breast biopsy re: receptors nor the...

Apr 25, 2011 - Wrestling the shoebox

Location: Moab, UT We left our home in Centennial, CO on Easter Sunday. The local weather guessers had predicted 10-20" of snowfall on the I-70 corridor, which was precisely our route getting from Denver to Moab... fortunately for us, the forecast was somewhat less than precise... seems 90% of the moisture had taken a southerly track and left I-70 'wet' in some spots... no ice, no snow, no slush. Apr 17, 2011 - Spring in Moab, 2011

The end is near... the end of April, that is... time once again for the annual Ural pilgrimage to Moab, Utah. Taking place on or about April 23rd - 30th. Spring in Moab, 2011

Aug 8, 2009 - day 20

Colorado took care of the wind. We were not far into the state when the wind died down and eventually stopped--yay! Met Nan and Phil and Eileen (Lane's niece, her husband, and Nan and Phil's daughter) plus Eileen's baby, Zachary. We are planning on going to Bailey, Co. tomorrow to meet up with Kevin and fam and group, (where they are working unassigned territory) and attend their meeting at 10 am, and a picnic after. Should be a fun day. See you tomorrow, the 3 happy wanderers.

Our Indiana Trip

May 10, 2008 - Brother Dave's - Centennial, CO

After leaving Memphis, we crossed through Jackson, MO, Paxico, KS (Millcreek Campground was really cute...although situated between the highway and the traintracks and beside a lazy river...it was surprisingly quiet and was just off "downtown" Paxico..with numerous out buildings with outside signs and memorabilia all around) We finally made it to the Denver area and reached Jim's brother's(Dave & Janelle) home in Centennial, CO about mid-day. We parked the RV in their driveway and made it a little tight when they tried to get out of their...
