We spent the past two days visiting Rocky Mountain National Park; one of the grandaddy's of the national park system, and one which can only be described by the adjective - spectacular! The reasons that we devoted two days to it are that there is so much to see, and we needed to enter by both entrances since the road that joins them is a seasonal road and is now closed, and the entrances are 3 1/2 hours apart. ... Our visit to Mesa Verde National Park was unlike the other national parks in two respects: One is that we aborted our first attempt yesterday due to the snow storm and the other is that the marvel of this park was created by humans rather than by nature as in the other national parks. ...
