Today we journey about 2 hours east to visit Squaw Valley and Sugar Pine State Park. Squaw Valley was the home of the 1960 Winter Olympics. Our trail took us through Olympic Village and out to the Truckee River. We met many walking friends and enjoyed the beautiful mountain scenery. On our second walk, we were bussed past Tahoe City to Sugar Pine State Park on Lake Tahoe.
