Much more of the same today - pinball , pinball and more pinball. We did get around to play some of the older games , the woodrail's and the EM games that we hadn't spent much time on up to this point. I don't necessarily enjoy these old slow games BUT I do respect their place in the pinball time-line and understand that without them we wouldn't have had the progression into the games that I truly enjoy being the late 70's games and onwards. Sep 23, 2011 - Pacific Pinball Expo - San Rafael
Well it officially opens at 10am today - the 5th Pacific Pinball Expo. We grabbed the free breakfast provided with the room cost at the hotel, which was great and then headed for Expo when it opened at 10am. There was around 100 people already here awaiting the opening.. We queued for tickets and were ( back ) in the hall at around 10.15am - the place is open until midnight on both Friday and Saturday so we were going to have PLENTY of game time over the next 2 days. Sep 22, 2011 - A day in SFO - Fishermans Wharf
Tonight we had tickets to the 'pre-opening party' at The Pacific Pinball Expo meaning that we get to see it without the thousands of members of the general public attending - we couldn't wait for tonight so to fill the day in we drove into San Francisco across the famous Golden Gate Bridge and spent most of the day in the Fishermans Wharf area. The bridge was HEAVILY covered in fog around 9.30am when we were driving in and you really couldn't even tell you were driving on the GG bridge - which was a shame. We found a parking lot in the...
