Nov 1, 2007 - Tree (S)Tops

We enjoyed a few days at the southern end of the California redwoods. There are many attractions and sights to see that are related to this beautiful redwood area. Our pics will show some of them. A highlight was the "Avenue of the Giants", a 30+ mile stretch of road that weaves in and out and around huge redwood trees. The road is narrow ... the trees are close to the road ... it's quite a road to drive. We continue to be awed by the sights of these huge trees ... the tallest living things in the world. It's been a real treat. Enjoy our pics.
