Sep 14, 2011 - Likely, CA
On our way to Los Angeles. After a relaxing stop in Oak Ridge (OR), we drove to Likely, CA. It was only a 5 hour drive, and we are WAAAAAAY out in the boonies! Right here in the middle of nowhere is a 18 hole golf course and RV Park. Even better, the park is nice, the people are friendly, and the area is interesting. So we will spend 2 days here. Although we don't golf, they do have a "geocache golf course". We'll see what that is like... We are at 4,400 ft altitude, in the California desert. So the days are warm (85F) and the nights cool...

Sep 9, 2011 - Likely, Ca.
Thursday morning (the 8th) we left Crescent, Oregon (we'll miss it there, just love hanging out at Big Pines RV Park) but it was time to move on. We drove approximately 240 miles to Likely Place Golf & RV Resort (in Likely, Ca). We only spent one night, Pete wanted to play golf, but he over extended his left arm (we think) so for now golf is on hold till it heals up. We've stayed at Likely Place a few times before & its always been nice place to stop for a rest. We did have a nice little thunder storm last night, didn't last long, the rain...

May 2, 2011 - Likely, California (summer work camping)
It was a very easy drive of 190 miles from Mound House, NV to Likely, CA. Thank you to our friends the VanEmmeriks for putting us up on their place for the past 2 weeks. As we got the coach ready for this days travel we both admitted a little apprehension toward what we have committed to on this next stop. It is a 6 months commitment for us. Rebecca will be working inside the golf clubhouse checking in golfers and RV'ers with a few other duties, Dave will be working outside as RV park maintenance, mowing lawns, cleaning up after guests...

Aug 30, 2010 - Likely, CA (an unlikely discovery)
It's Monday and time to leave our fun at Eugene of family and friends but more so it's time to leave the wonderful summer we've had. We've added 6 states to our map, caught up with several friends and seen some of God's wonders on His Earth! Now that all the magic has been experienced it's time to get on down to Reno, and our former home. Our renter has moved out, the property needs to be readied for another renter. We're sure there is alot that needs to be done. There are two directions we usually go from Eugene to get to Reno, I-5 to...
