We are at the shores of Shasta Lake. We both swear this was called Whiskey-Shasta lake 35 years ago. But again y'all know about memory losses as we get older. Interesting day was had by this vagabond couple. We went to the doctor. Shirley's 4th visit on the trip and my first. Ear infection (what did you say?) for her and a sinus infection for moi. Nice experience and pretty fast too. Got the drugs we need and are back on the road. Decided to take it easy today and head just 20 miles north to a campground with a laundry. Even us hearty...

Aug 12, 2007 - Lake Shasta, CA

Tonight we stayed at Holiday Harbor in Lake Shasta. We wanted to check out the houseboats here. Nicole loved the RV park because of the playground and tons of kids right accross from our site. She made a new friend. The water was really low, not great for swimming or lake walks so we decided to "hit the road". Plus, internet connection was bad. Onward we go!
