Nov 7, 2009 - Hollywood: bof!

... Aug 21, 2009 - Charlie Sheen???

We’re staying two nights in a Holiday Inn in North Hollywood, so I guess there will be some time to shop and stuff. ... We hung out in the hotel room for a little while to wait for rush hour traffic to ease up before we headed down to Hollywood Blvd for the evening. ... My final verdict on Hollywood (based on not much of anything) is that it’s fun, but it’s a city. ... There are some things that are uniquely Hollywood and yeah, you’re probably more likely to catch a glimpse of the celebs, but other than that, it’s just a city. ...

Today we left Huntington and headed for Downtown LA. We decided to head into Hollywood to Hollywood Boulevard and the Walk of Fame, after some very helpful directions from the hotel reception we were on our way to the subway (trains not the sandwich place). ... We got off at Hollywood/Highland and stepped straight out onto the Walk of Fame, the first star I saw was for Donald Duck and Bugs Bunny, so I set about looking for Arnie's. ... Outside the Chinese Theatre were the foot and hand prints of the stars, after taking the mickey out of how small Sly's feet were I eventually found Arnie's.Today we left Huntington and headed for Downtown LA. May 14, 2009 - Lazing Around Near L.A.

Our next stop was at a Thousand Trails park, Soladad Canyon, located about 50 miles north of Los Angeles, near the Angeles National Forest, and just outside the town of Acton.
