After getting set up and settled in at the RV Resort, we spent the rest of Saturday relaxing. Hemet, CA is a City of roughly 75,000 located in the San Jacinto Valley. ... Little did we know, the smoke we saw was another California wildfire, that ended up being on SR74, the road we needed to take to get back to Hemet. ... We were unsure where to go, but at the recommendation of a fellow RVer we met in Lake Havasu, we headed for Golden Village Palms RV resort in Hemet, CA. ... Hemet, CA is between San Diego and LA about 60 miles inland. ... We are home - actually we got home last night but I was to tired to turn on the computer. We won that battle also and pulled into Hemet in the early evening. ... Well, the last try was so easy I'll give it another go, besides Karen's so busy enjoying the facilities she doesn't have time to write. Yes, we're still at the RV resort in Hemet CA. ... Unfortunately we have to leave our nice park today, because there is no room. We keep following I-15 and take Hwy 74 towards Hemet. ... We find a park in Hemet, where once again, according to the office, we get the 'last' spot, but there are lots of open spots all over the park. ... The park is right in town, close to the stores and has a pool and hot tub, so the boys can swim.Unfortunately we have to leave our nice park today, because there is no room.
