After 3 days in the Lance Service Center parking lot, and spending the morning waiting for the paperwork to be completed, we are back on the road and heading north. We have settled down for a couple of days in Gustine, California off I-5 and will take some time to explore the area including the Anderson split pea soup restaurant. Nov 12, 2011 - So close

I didn't quite make it to Redwood City where I'll be staying for the next week. It got dark and I had to cross the mountains through the Pacheco Pass. There were high wind warnings for the pass so I decided to wait until the morning. I'm staying in Santa Nella, CA. It worked out good because I was able to eat dinner at Pea Soup Andersen's. 2011 Triangle Tour

Jan 8, 2011 - Gustine, California

We pulled out of Temecula around 9:30 this morning under slightly clody skies, that only got darker the closer we got to Los Angeles. Once again trusty Melani the GPS got us through the maze of freeways, up the Grapevine, and onto I-5 heading north. Other then pit stopd for gas and the neccessary functions we drove pretty much straight through to Gustine, California, a very small community right of I-5.
