Elaine left for work before we were rousted but the rest of the Legans saw us off. By the time we gassed up and pointed west it was 9 o'clockish. We scored a handful more states in the license plate game and now only miss some of those small, pesky New England states. We were delayed by and saw the carnage of a terrible wreck which consisted of the mangled remains of a car and an upside down semi-trailer and cab. Jul 10, 2008 - Day 16 - Santa Barbara to Fullerton
Breakfast together on the patio of the Inn. Cool and foggy (surprise) and the first "Can we swim today?" was just floated by Erika Sue. Mom used the computer, Dad went for a beach jog, and the girls indeed did hit the pool where I joined them on return. Wished Frank well, checked out, ate lunch with Mutz, Gary, and Oma – We had a nice chat with Oma and left SB at 2:00. Traffic cooperated – Arrived in Fullerton to Uncle Norm and Aunt Jane's at 4:30. Jul 3, 2008 - How Can You Live In A Motorhome????
A few times we have been told, by well meaning friends, that when we come to their town we can stay at their house instead of our motorhome. Many friends and relatives cannot understand how it is possible to live comfortably in a motorhome. Our motorhome has three "rooms." A combined living/dining/kitchen area, a bathroom and a bedroom. We have central air conditioning and heating (we did not have air conditioning in our Fullerton house).
