After leaving Wickenburg, we continued along Route 60 and then Route 72 to Parker, AZ on the Colorado River. We were a little surprised (but shouldn't have been) with the huge crop fields on both sides of 72. It looked like there had been melons in several and a root crop was growing - maybe carrots? - in others. All made possible of course thanks to irrigation from the Colorado.
