Jun 28, 2009 - Up, Up the Mountain
On our final Thursday at our location in the Arkansas Mountains, with nothing planned for that day, we decided to take a ride over to Mt. Magazine State Park. This is an exciting time for us because we’ve planned and talked about it, but it was always in the future, now it is here and we...

From Charlton Recreation Area – Ouachita National Forest – Royal, AR A whole seven days now since we departed and I last posted in the journal. As I stated, we had an overnight stay in Greenwood, LA; just outside of Shreveport and we did visit two casinos. I know I made a joke about the buffets, but the host at the RV Park suggested that we try the lunch buffet at the Horseshoe Casino, stating it was her favorite. We took the advice and sure glad we did. I would recommend it to anyone finding themselves in Shreveport and looking for a good...
