This morning we had an excellent breakfast in the dining room of the Lodge before heading out for our activities of the day. Queen Wilhelmina State Park is atop 2,681-foot Rich Mountain near Mena, Arkansas in a spectacular setting. Its main attraction is the Queen Wilhelmina Lodge. The original lodge, called the "Castle in the Sky", was constructed in 1898 high above the Ouachita Mountains. Oct 9, 2002 - Arkansas - Queen Wilhelmina State Park

Today I left on a fall vacation in Arkansas with the OK Fellowship (Older Kids) from my church in Carrollton. After work Tuesday night I had driven up to Carrollton and stayed overnight in my Chinook in the church’s parking lot. I left the Chinook in the parking lot directly under a bright light to discourage theft and vandalism. I wanted to be ready to meet my friends early this morning.
