Oct 29, 2012 - Roberson Orchards

We visited the small town of Omaha, Arkansas today. It is only a few miles from where we are staying in Branson. We wanted to find a nice fruit and vegetable market and heard about Robersons Orchard & Farm. They have a huge variety of locally grown Ozark fruit such as peaches, nectarines, and apples in season; a large variety of nuts, dried fruits, candy, honey, sorghum, jams, jellies, relishes, dressings and more. We left Tuesday morning and stopped at a local Indian Casino for breakfast and then a little recreation at the machines. We actually left with more money than we went in with, thanks partly to Senior Day. Then, on to a RV Park in Omaha AR which is about 30 miles South of Branson MO. This is a very friendly small RV Park with great views of the rolling green hills and trees. We hope to return and stay here again for a longer period. Wednesday we made a day trip loop to Eureka Springs AR then North to MO and East to Branson and back South to...

Burlington, just a couple miles south has only a stained glass shop. In Harrison, 15 miles south of Omaha, 3 inches of ice covered the trees. Power was out for 8 days. I could never have imagined ice doing this. Piles...
