Nov 22, 2006 - Buffalo National River

The Buffalo River originates high in the Boston Mountains in Arkansas and drops steadily to its confluence with the White River. The river has high bluffs some reaching as high as 440 feet and consist of sandstone, limestone and dolomite. These multi-coloured cliffs have been sculpted over the centuries by erosion. To appreciate the cliffs you have to take one of the many trails along the river which we did.

Nov 17, 2006 - Table Rock Lake and Branson

Table Rock Lake is located between the states of Missouri and Arkansas. We stopped originally in Branson, Missouri – famous for entertainment year round then moved to The Outdoor Resorts Ozark Mountains in Arkansas. Our resort overlooked the Table Lake.
