Oct 5, 2009 - To Munds Park, Arizona
Today we had a relatively short drive, so we didn’t leave until around 10:00. We made only one rest stop. Before going to our campsites, we both bought propane. My supply was getting very low. After we had gotten set up, we went to visit the Meteor Crater, which is 35 miles east of Flagstaff. Even though it is not the largest crater in the world, it still is very impressive. It is 550 feet deep (equivalent to a 60-story building), 4,000 feet across and 2.4 miles in circumference. What sets it apart from the others is that it is in much...

Our days on the beach were wonderful. First Santa Barbara, and then 5 days in San Diego. For the past 3 weeks we've been with family, first in Riverside, then San Diego, then Brawley and Tucson AZ. We are back on track on our adventure, and heading toward the Grand Canyon. We will be spending 2 days in the Sedona/Flagstaff area and then onto the the Grand Canyon.

May 8, 2008 - On the Road to Munds Park
We left Picacho Wed. morning, heading up I-10 W. Phoenix traffic was pretty busy & kept Pete on his toes, our biggest worry was getting cut off (as most of you RVer's know, our RVs don't exactly stop on a dime), we did make it through with all fenders intact. We took I-17 just outside of Phoenix & drove through some beautiful country. Overall it was a nice drive.
