We have arrived at our next volunteer location, Boyce Thompson Arboretum. This is a State of Arizona Park, maintained in conjunction with the University of Arizona. It is large, about 323 acres, and has an enormous collection of tropical plants from around the world. We will be working here for 6 weeks. They were short some help just when their busy season begins. So, we agreed to help. We get a lot of benefit, as we get a comprehensive education about desert plants and animals.
