After Kim left us, Kayla and I decide to drown our misery in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace and a little stroll down Las Vegas Boulevard. Nov 2, 2007 - Skywalk Glass Bridge...Boo!

Well, today surely had it's ups and downs. After feeling under the weather for a few days, Olie and I decided to visit the Skywalk Glass Bridge...our main reason for being in the middle of nowhere, AZ. What a disappointment! We had been looking forward to going to it our whole trip. We had heard about it years ago and incorporated it in to our road trip because it sounded amazing. Well, in truth, it was a scam in so many ways! It takes almost an hour drive on a dirt road, they make you pay an ungodly amount of money before you can even see...

Oct 30, 2007 - Welcome back to the Grand Canyon!

Today the "Leaving Las Vegas" song comes to mind! Once your ready to go...your really ready to go! So, we headed west out of Vegas and towards the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. We found a nice park in Meadview, AZ and will be here for a few days. On the way here we drove past Lake Mead, over the Hoover Dam and through forest upon forest of Joshua Trees. The dam was impressive and the trees are so unique. It's very peaceful in desert...this will be a nice place to recoup!
