April 30, 2010 The boys went to Earls Castle on 1st street for breakfast. We all went out on Lake Mohave with Vicki and Rob on their boat. Bob saw two wild donkeys on the hill by the marina. It was very windy but Rob found us a great cove with a sandy beach where we spent lunch time and then drove around the lake a little couldn’t go as far as wanted due to wind. All 8 of us were comfortable on Vicki and Robs boat. We had a great Mexican restaurant at the Riverside Casino was great. We had a great day.

April 28, 2010 Wednesday we leave Pooh’s at 9:20am 63 degrees. It rained this morning. H15 has some amazing rock formations. The desert landscape with these sand colored rock outcroppings, some slick others jutting up in angular patterns, others rounded mounds, like large smooth river rocks molded together. The power lines stand like tall women’s dress forms against these sage brush covered hills. Not sure why the camera is not working well. ? if need to change batteries again, will try this PM. It is sunny with scattered clouds 49degrees...

Apr 21, 2010 - the GRAND CANYON....

I cannot tell you how breath-taking the Grand Canyon is...words and pic's just don't do it justice...at first look, it literally brought tears to our eyes. One day we would like to return and spend a week or two just taking in this awesome National park. It is well worth the trip if you have never been...it was worth the car rental, long drive back and forth and every penny spent...I could go on and on, but, what a blessing it was to make that trip...I am limited in size and amount of pic's I can post here, so I loaded all the pics, once...

Apr 17, 2010 - What an Awesome Week...

There are so many beautiful areas in Arizona...it amazes us that there is so much to see. The weather has been great and the riding has been very enjoyable. We rode south to Parker, Az and found a place on the way on the Bill Williams river that is very beautiful. Then a friend we met here in the park told us about Katerine Landing ...WOW...it was N of Davis Dam, not far from us, what a jewel in the desert...lol. I am sure we will visit that area again before we move on. We have been so blessed to be able to enjoy all the wonderful...

Apr 16, 2010 - R&R Day

Hi Everyone Well i hope you enjoyed the ones from Oatman. Rick and I thought it was so cool to see wild burros so friendly and they do roam the town. There are four babies and they can't eat regular food until they are at least 6 mos and they have stickers on their heads so no one will feed them food(carrots) or they will choke to death. Well we have been taking it easy these two last days. We are leaving for NV tomorrow. Will enjoy. Rick & Mischelle

Apr 10, 2010 - ...alittle relaxing, riding, etc...

The last week or so has been spent mostly in the local area of Mojave valley. We had a few days of pretty windy conditions, so it kept us pretty close. We spent time relaxing, cleaning, etc. Of course we enjoy the daily visits from the roadrunners, bunnies, wide variety of birds and new aquaintances here at the Rv park. I did go to the local dirt track races last Sat. night with a new friend from Minn. Then yesterday, Suz and I rode to Havasu Landing, Ca. and had another wonderful day. We were given free roundtrip water taxi tickets at...

Well we had a very nice trip to Bullhead City, the weather was very sunny and warm. Beautiful park we are in. This is so cool we are about 1/2 mile to the bridge that goes over to NV, that has 10 casinos. It is like being in little Las Vegas. You can actually see the one from our camp site. Will check them out later. It is very warm here , not complaining , it's good to feel warm instead of cold. We took a trip to Lake Havasu to see the London Bridge. It was pretty cool. It is really the London Bridge from London England, check out pics. We...
