Day 27. Monday 4th February The rain stopped overnight although the morning started a bit cloudy. We planned to go off & visit the Fort Bowie National Historic Site about 30 miles away & then the Chiricahua National Monument over in the same area. I have to own up to making a really basic motorhoming error today. I found out about it about ten minutes after we left our camp site in the morning. Southwest USA - 2019

Feb 10, 2017 - Travel Day

We made it away a little sooner than our usual time. Driving weather was perfect, with no wind to speak of. We pulled in to Bowie only to find.....nothing. Luckily I had a phone signal, so called the campground to get directions. It appears tbat the GPS (otherwise known as the gypsy) had steered us wrong. But, since this is really a wide place in the road, we were soon pulling in. And really pleasantly surprised! Nice pull thru spots with full hookups and free WiFi for only $15.92. And super nice people in the office/store. To Bowie-126 miles

Fun between jobs

Apr 16, 2008 - Saguaro RV Park - Part 7

Tuesday, April 1 thru Tuesday, April 15, 2008 Tuesday, 4/1, we joined 25 other rigs for an Escapees Chapter 21 rally in Bowie AZ, 60 miles east of Benson. We arrived at noon and spent the afternoon visiting with other attendees. At 4 o’clock, Happy Hour began with the arrival of lots of good munchies. By the time we’d eaten our way through them, dinner wasn’t necessary so the evening was spent playing various games in the clubhouse. Bowie a wonderful place. We are at the hot water spring. This place it beautiful. When we went in the water it was so warm. It was so awesome. Well when we got out we ate lunch in the camper and then went back in. After that we left. P.S. The road was horible coming here. It was all bumbie and just horible. Well G2G bye Gagnon Family
