Jan 9, 2014 - Amado, AZ

UPDATE Jan. 12, 2014 - More photos added. Ater getting our new Sleep Number bed, oh and to answer Rob's question in our Guestbook our backs are feeling better after only one night, installed in Tucson Tuesday we made the short 40 mile drive down I-19 to Amado, about half way between Tucson and Nogales, Mexico, arriving at De Anza RV Resort around 6pm. We were here last year around this time and obviously enjoyed as we are back.Temps are a lot warmer then last year with day time in lower 70's but cool nights in the 30's. Beautiful country...

Jan 14, 2013 - Amado, AZ

After a short 2 hour drive we arrived in Amado, about half way between Tucson and Nogales, Mexico, at De Anza RV Resort Friday the 11th. Beautiful country with views of the mountains. Located just south of Tucson / Green Valley and minutes from historic Tubac Village & Madera Canyon are hiking trails, ATV riding and world-class Birding. The resort features a pet friendly environment that includes indoor heated salt-water pool/spa, exercise room, billiards room, TV/library, movies, card room, board games, shuffleboard courts, darts, bocce...

Mar 3, 2012 - Tumacocori Ntl Historic Park

Today (Friday) we drove west on Route 82 through Senoita to Patagonia. We checked out a few shops in Patagonia, I would best describe Patagonia as a mini downtown Stowe or Montpelier. It looks like a yuppie and “artist” conclave. The town is a popular birding and hiking location. We stopped at Patagonia Lake State Park – very nice. They can accommodate up to 50’ rigs, have a nice beach, marina, store, boat launch, etc. It is located in a scenic area and would be a good place to hang out for a few days. Then on to Nogales. Jan 12, 2010 - Amado AZ

Arrived at our launch park yesterday and met up with the Wagonmaster. Today we drove to Nogales and picked up our visas and checked out exchanging $$$. All went well and we are ready to start dealing with the customers tomorrow. I’ll put the Fantasy stickers on their rigs and do some tailgunner inspections.

Feb 10, 2008 - Public Art in Tucson, Inspiration, and Cherishing Mother Earth

On more than one occasion while driving around Tucson, I was impressed with the beauty of the city. Even the highway overpasses and pedestrian footbridges are constructed with pretty designs in them. This is a city with aesthetic values and not just a utilitarian mindset.
