We are on our way home from our home project in Alabama. It took between 6 and 8 people all week as we painted, cleaned, repaired and generally spruced up the house and now it is ready for sale. We had a great time and commented many times how much easier and more fun a project when people work together. Every job was critical to the mission no matter how small. Jul 30, 2018 - Summer update

So, we have not written for a long time. This is Emily and we are currently in a campground????? in Georgia. That qualifies for a blog entry. We arrived home in early June and went on our trip to Ireland and England. We had a great time with two of the grandchildren. We stayed with friends, who treated us like royalty. However, we did not have tea with the queen. In both countries we saw a lot of rural countryside and it is gorgeous. One Day @ a Time

Nov 2, 2009 - Covered Bridges

From Wills Creek RV Park, Fort Payne, in the NE corner of Alabama. Today turned-out to be a totally gorgeous day, weather-wise. Hearing on the weather forecast the night before that it had the prospect of doing so, we decided that we should take advantage of it by getting our butts mobile & seeing something that Vicki had added to our list for this area. We chose to go see the three covered bridges clustered in the area of the towns of Oneonta & Cleveland, about seventy-five miles southwest of Fort Payne…..you figure-out how to pronounce...
