What does one do on a wet day in Wales go exploring a woodland garden – mad or what? The day dawn grey and there was forecast of rain later but we needed to get out to avoid cabin fever as it had rained heavily the day before. Our first stop was the NT Colby Woodland Gardens near Tenby. This garden is wedged in a wooded valley. Until the 19th century the land covered by the gardens was mined for anthracite and iron ore. It had a lovely walled garden and several woodland paths we enjoyed walking before walking down to the Amroth sea...
