Saturday, fine morning, 10.0am depart on trip to Fishguard, catching ferry to Rosslare, Ireland. Leaving Tenby we travel onto the A477 through Pembrokeshire countryside, through Milton, past Pembroke to our left, crossover Milton Haven estuary with views of the Pembroke Dock area - oil refinery and boat harbours; past Neyland,through the countryside onto A4076 to Haverfordwest onto the A40 to Fishguard. Jun 25, 2007 - Ferry to Fishguard, & overnight in Abergavenny

Overnight, the winds blew and the sea was quite rough for our crossing on Monday. Moving around on the ferry was a challenge -- I had to dash from pillar to pillar during a roll one direction, then wait for the opposite roll of the boat to launch myself to the next solid object to grab hold of along the way. And this was after the captain announced that the stabilizers had been put down for the crossing.
