We woke up early (well for us holidayers it was early) to say goodbye to Judith and Corinne as they headed out the door for work. As we came into Wales and then later into Swansea we watched the Welsh mountains come into view. ... Jun 26, 2009 - 5th day in Cardiff - St. Faggans heritage outdoor museum
we went to the welsh heritage site on Friday as well as our last visit to Joannes grandmas retirement home. the bus ride through Cardiff was fun through the narrow streets but we got to see a lot of interesting buildings and streets on the way. ... Sunday 21 We wake up still laughing about last night and decide to catch a bus to the city Swansea that is by the beach. ... So we take the train from Neath to Swansea. ... Friday September 19 Cates and myself decided to go to Wales to go canyoning and so we headed to the train station in Cambridge with a ride from Steve. We took the train to King's Cross (largest train station in London and the one in Harry Potter) there we have to get out and take the underground to Paddington (like the bear) and from there we were off to Neath. ... We finally get to Neath where we were suppose to meet up with Cate's friend Kristen. ... Canyoning; a. But did I mention it was beautiful? The morning sun crept through the trees, peeking onto the shallow waters and illuminating the unbelievably clear, fresh water beneath us, filled with bright red sandstones. ... The smell was constant, of the nature of the pleasant aroma you immediately sense when you step out of the car and onto the campsite in the Rocky's or even Lake Carlblackwell - smokey, woody campfires waiting for smores to be made.Canyoning; a.
