Quiet day today. Breakfast at our hotel (best darn chocolate croissant I’ve ever eaten) followed by visit to local grocery store, then lunch with my Uncle and cousin and an afternoon of enjoying family talk! Hope tonight is the night my body’s clock will switch to Europe time!

Jun 6, 2019 - Travel day-London to Rugby

Today we navigated the British rail system by traveling from our hotel in Edgware to Euston station and then transferring to the train from Euston to Rugby. Uncle Oscar picked us up and took us to our hotel to check-in. Then we went back to uncle Oscar and aunt Margaret’s home where Ruth and Miles were awaiting us. We had a nice afternoon chatting and then went for dinner at our hotel restaurant. Rain is promised for tomorrow so we will see what tomorrow brings!

Aug 21, 2008 - England (3 Wixford Road - Shirley)

My Mum’s brother lives in Rugby. That famous place that spawned the name for the game so close to most New Zealander’s hearts. So that is where we will go today, to catch up with my Uncle Harry. Today is also a red letter day. It is the day that my Uncle Jim lent us his Tom Tom. No it is not a disease or a Native American drum beat. It is a Satellite Navigation System.
