Hello again everyone. We've been off the Internet air for a few days since we went to Manchester so here is the update of the last few days. We survived the first night at the George Inn without any appearances during the night by the Duke or his cohorts. Though Brenda lay awake for half the night wainting for him. Especially after she was told of the girl who woke with a feeling of a hand over her face and ran from the hotel vowing never to return. We travelled on the bus into Bath. Jul 20, 2012 - Mousehole to Bath (Norton St Philip)

Hello again everyone, Yes, I heard, the Bombers got thumped again. Lucky to be away. Long drive from the beautiful Mousehole to Bath. Well, it is actually 7 miles out of Bath at Norton St Philip. Well, I actually made it a longer drive than it should be with some wrong turns. Not my fault entirely as we turned left instead of right after a wee stop.But we saw some lovely country. Good evening everyone, A lovely day in Mousehole today. The sun was shining. Brian took us on a drive to Lands End, the extreme south west point of Great Britain. The drive was interesting in itself, single lane country roads lined by eight foot high hedges. Cars coming in the opposite direction meant a stand off as to who would back off to a passing point. There were no problems but it makes for an interesting drive. Lands End is interesting. It has changed since Brian last saw it. There is the pub, the original 1800s buildings, souvenir...

Jul 18, 2012 - Bournemouth to Mousehole

Hello everyone, After a long drive we arrived in Mousehole at the bottom of England. I suggested it would be like the fishing village in the tv show Doc Martin and it is exactly that. A beautiful little village. A nightmare to park. The streets are not designed for cars at all and two cars cannot pass. The drive into the village had to be stopped, back up, let the car go thorough and vice versa. A slow trip. But it has been worthwhile as it is lovely.
