Feb 26, 2019 - Another beautiful day

After the landlord came at 9.30 and collected the £10 mooring fee we set off again. Once we had travelled about 2 miles downstream from Henley the houses became much smaller and less Mansion looking. After 3 locks we arrived at Marlow. Another yuppy town but the sunshine brought out lots of people and we even bought an icecream from the ice cream van. Another beautiful church to look around surrounded by a very old graveyard - the oldest grave we spotted was 1797. This poor young lady was only 24 years old when she died - the mother...

After 13 months on the road settling back into Western life was quite difficult once I had caught up with my wonderful family and friends. An extreme from Burma lets say, which is like a second home to me and somewhere I definitely plan to return to. I was lucky to get a job quite fast at the company my father works, Instron.
