Lots of posh houses passed today, some very nicely looked after, some not so. We managed to get the last remaining mooring spot in Henley town today. Very lucky. We went for a wander down stream because we had passed by the Piper Boats display being set up for the weekend. Ended up talking to another Australian couple who had brought along their Piper boat to show off. So chatted for a while and then headed back into town, to go through the Church. Jun 30, 2018 - University get together
After a couple of months waiting, we finally got to see and drive the Bentley Flying Spur. What a great car! Very comfortable and fast. A great get together with friends from University. Thanks to Andy and Jackie for hosting at their amazing house in Bray on the river ThamesJump to full entry

Hi Everyone We just had to head back to Moffat to witness their Annual Sheep Race. It promised to be a day of fun and it certainly had us laughing as we cheered and shouted at the sheep, trying to encourage them to head towards the finishing line. Each race had six sheep competing with a knitted ‘jockey’ strapped on their backs. Bets are placed with the bookies and then the flag is down and they are off, running, leaping, looking this way and that, the jockeys being thrown from side to side (a couple lost their seat altogether!), down the...Jump to full entry
