Feb 1, 2008 - Getting ready for the off

Larry and I have almost packed for the journey. I say almost because his bag is done but mine is still too full to close. We have been buying things for the trip for the last few months and now we have to decide which things are essential and which are just indulgent. On the truck we only have a locker each that is 70cm by 40cm by 30cm so the rucksack has to be smaller than this. The sleeping bags and sleeping mats go in overhead netting and we can have one small day bag for cameras, journal, books, water etc.
