We Made It! Well the idea of stopping my work to reduce stress levels has not worked out so well over the last few days! As you know we were scheduled to fly to Heathrow on Sunday 20 January 2013 so we would be able to catch the flight at 09.40 on Monday morning. 25 Sept 2102 Awoke at reasonable time – C is sick with a bad cold so a day in bed would be useful, but not possible at this stage. Showered and dressed then had a nice breakfast. The owner (Helen) asked if we had any problems or suggestions, as they had only just opened the B&B. Strangely, I “complained” that the shower was too hot!! We've been very stressed with all the things we had to get sorted in time and didn't like saying goodbye to our nearest and dearest but we'll keep in touch with you all. Reality is finally beginning to settle in and we're realising that we are going away for a YEAR!!! We're nervous but excited now and trying to focus on the good experiences we're going to have instead of worrying about bad experiences we may or may not have. What a emotional roller-coaster! Buenos Dias! I got to the airport at about 22:30 yesterday- the master plan was to chill out at the airport and wait for check in, perhaps have a little sleep. master plan was crap! Today dawned with the rain falling in Cheltenham and it continued to fall constantly all day. After checking out of the hotel at 10.00am we decided to route to Heathrow via Chipping Sodbury (just because) and Bath. After just under an hour of driving down the M5 in the mist thrown up by other vehicles we rolled into the centre of Chipping Sodbury.
