May 15, 2010 - Hay-on-Wye
Today I travelled from London to Hay-on-Wye, Wales. I caught a bus at Victoria Coach Station to Hereford and after a bit of a wait, transferred to the bus that would take me to Hay-on-Wye. I stayed at Tinto House bed and breakfast run by the Clares, who are very warm and welcoming people. The ensuite room was fantastic and looked out over the square. I had an absolutely incredible meal at The Old Black Lion Inn: beetroot and feta salad with pinenuts and balsamic vinaigrette, followed by duck breast on mashed parsnips. Met some fellas...
