Again it was a lovely day so we were on the road again into the dales. This time we headed to the village of Hawes where we visited the Wensleydale Creamery. As well as visiting the museum on the history of the creamery we visited the cheese shop. We tasted a whole range of different cheeses and of course stocked up the larder. The Wensleydale with Ginger was particularly good. We then drove through the small village of Askrigg where the TV series “All Creatures Great and Small” was filmed.
