Joint Jottings Not every journey is worth it. We scheduled a trip to the Isle of Wight in order to visit Queen Victoria and Prince Albert’s family home, Osborne House. Marilyn, the poster child for preplanning, checked out web sites and reviews of most of the lodging on the island and booked the round trip ferry trip. We left Orchard Barn early (having to pass on that last Nigel breakfast) and arrived at the ferry terminal, only to be told that the ferry would be 30 minutes late! That should have told us to turn around and head...
